Almost all tumors that appear on the posterior are benign. Therefore, these tumors are suitable for minimally invasive methods of video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS). This method can be used to remove all neurogenic tumors, bronchial cysts, and large vestibular overlapping cysts. VATS allows for a wider incision, muscle incision, and much less discomfort and faster recovery than a traditional chest incision that requires rib isolation.
